Nah, no free trial in the traditional sense. But I think they have some intro discounts that make the first bit super cheap, especially if you're an agency.

Nimbus is pretty agency-focused, similar to WPE in that way, but I found their support a bit more responsive and personal. Performance-wise, they're both solid for WordPress.
